Enter the pot size and bet to see if calling is profitable.
Pot odds tell you how much you need to win to justify calling a bet. They're expressed as a percentage: the amount you must call divided by the total pot after your call. If the pot is $100 and someone bets $50, you need to call $50 into a $200 total pot — your pot odds are 25%. If your hand has more than 25% equity, calling is profitable in the long run.
Pot Odds = Call Amount ÷ (Current Pot + Call Amount) × 100
If your estimated equity (chance of winning) is greater than the pot odds percentage, the call is profitable. This is one of the most fundamental concepts in poker strategy.
Pot odds only account for the money already in the pot. Implied odds factor in additional money you expect to win on later streets if you hit your draw. For example, a flush draw might not have direct pot odds to call, but if your opponent will pay off a big bet when you hit, the implied odds make it profitable.
